i'm just in the process of starting up on my own and part of that will involve sub contracting to local companys the bit i'm stuck on is whats the going day rate when subbing

Lots of variables to consider
what kind of work
labour only / labour and tools
were your working
your qualifications
how far you have to travel
It could really be anything between £70- £200

My day rate changes from where i'm working and who for.

Last week it was less than a mile drive to the job where as the week before it was a good 20 miles, so the rate was different.

My rate is also based on how much i need to make a living and a profit, rather than comparing it against other local sparks.
