Scenario is;-

Single Phase DB-3(for identification purposes) fed from link blocks
Link blocks fed from 100A Isolator and also feed a Single phase Wylex old isolator protected by RCD
Link Blocks consist of CPC---Phase 1---Phase 3-----Neutral
These come from 100A Isolator mentioned above (3 phase but only 2 phases are being used from the Isolator)
The Isolator is not a Switch fuse with Fuses in
This in turn is fed from a 100A Switch-fuse Isolator

In terms of a EICR for the DB schedule asking where DB-3 is fed from will it be the 100A Isolator and if so what is the protective device?

Or will it be classed as fed from the 100A Switch-fuse Isolator and protected by the BS88 100A fuses within?

Thoughts please?

Cheers Archy,

That was my thoughts. The isolator is offering just local isolation to the link blocks and offers no protection. Strange set up really IMO but I just want to report my findings correctly.

Thanks!

Yeah have indicated that the best I can. Will include more info in the report. Bloody NAPIT desktop im using though restricts the characters you can use in descriptions stupidly! ;-(
