Went to an EICR today, Customer requested a quote to upgrade DB,

I have never in my life seen a DB like this, It is a 3036 6 way fuse box with main switch , below this is a 4 way with main switch all built into the same unit, I am assuming this was for storage heaters once upon a time. Does anybody know what these were called? I'm going to have to make a right mess getting a standard dual rcd consumer unit in, Could do with finding something that makes it abit more respectable !

Sounds like at the time, a posh Wylex board, not many about.

Concentrate on the cu change. Get a ten way board, extend cables using crimp or wago's.

Do you know what all fuses are operating? Have you done the EICR yet?
