Hi all just wanted abit of thought on a matter. Im pritty new to the game (fully certified) and ive got a DB to change for a friend. After a quick look the excisting wiring going into the old re-wirable DB looks very tight and therefore some cables wont reach the new terminals in the dual RCD board I have bought. Basically what are peoples thoughts on useing good quality connector block to extend cabes that are too short as long as you verify the continuity of the connection and all impedances still come in under the BRB values. Surely you arnt expected to replace any cables that arnt long enough. Can anyone recommend good connector block e.g not the choclate variety?

Thanks for your help

As Tel says through crimps is a way, personally I like to fit an adaptable box, with din rail and klippon connections ........I think this looks a lot more professional and IMO a safer way to extend cables than compression crimps.

Though there is nothing wrong with compression crimps done correctly it is just a personal preference.
