DC Isolator per MPP Tracker or String

I would like to ask in terms of the installation of a DC Isolator. I ve got an inverter with two MPP Trackers. At one tracker, 2 strings are connected. At the second one, only one string.

Do I need 3 DC isolators (one per string) or 2 Isolators (one per tracker)?

You can get a 4 pole isolator from Sibert so two strings in two strings out.

Not only is it safer to have one DC Isolator per string but it is much better and safer for testing purposes. Obviously, a Multi Pole Isolate that will do the job in one (as above) is probably better if you want to limit how many components are going on the customer's wall although most private installs will have the invertor in the attic so the worlds your lobster.
I personally prefer separate isolators for separate circuits. If for any reason you needed to open the DC Isolator then you would only need to disconnect the 1 String supplying it which is obviously quicker and easier than the 2 String option.

For the 4000TL in the picture the manufacturers instructions require a non-combustible mounting. Not all do though. I had done it for the 4000TL I did for my first installation and it was one of the (few) technical points the assessor noticed and commented on (favourably). So I was glad I had.
