Does anyone know some good websites or videos showing you how to do the relevant dead tests on electrical circuits or sites with information about each test.

Would really help me with my revision, thank you.

there was a good you tube one chris kitchener or like that, testing a 3 phase board but he's very good at putting it across, R1+R2 and fig of 8 are made clear

I dont normally recommend this, but, there are some good 2391 Cd's/DVD's on ebay for about a fiver. Have a good search and you should turn something up. To be fair, if you follow GN3 step by step, you will get it anyway as they are well illustrated and explained.

What are you revising for?

Cheers............Howard

I have a college exam coming up which involves dead tests so I just want to make sure I am up to date with it all.
I don't have any parts with me to practice with.
:smiley2:

Sorry, let me rephrase it. I can't practice any testing/I don't have any parts or a tester.

Thanks for his name, saw one of his videos on youtube already and college staff show us videos by him.
If someone could link to to somewhere that contains all of his video that would be excellent!. Or just all the dead test videos would be fine.

Any other useful sites/videos would be good also, keep them coming.
Thanks

The coding part is all down to experience and knowing whether something is right or wrong. Remember some pics have no faults.
