deadline to enroll on NVQ 3?

is this getting scrapped next year?
I have been told it is and it isn't, which is it?

hi mate they doing away with 2330 and nvq 2356 and making a new qual called C&G 2357 diploma in electrotechnical etc etc if you go on C&G website it tells ya about transferring from VRQ to qcf something like that last date for enrolment for 2356 is end of december i think mate

yes 2330 will be going, nvq3 will be changing so get it this year as next year it will require more site visits so more expensive.

thanks for the replies.
so as of next year i will have 2330 level 2 & 3, but won't be able to start an NVQ! I wish i could start an NVQ this year but i can't find a placement.
my college told me i could go onto the NVQ 2356 no problem next year, they are also telling people currently doing level 2 2330 that they will be able to enroll on the level 3 course next year.
so next year plan is to find a placement, enroll on 2357 QCF Diploma, get fast tracked to the NVQ bit as i will already have tech certs L2&3 and then get signed off as an electrician.

hopefully something goes wrong and city and guilds postpone the release of the new course untill 2012!
