Decent Laser levels recommendations

Hi all looking for recommendations on good efficient and reasonably priced laser levels as I’m sick of using time consuming string lines.

Bosch GCL 2000 from screwfix - I put one in my screwfix basket at 134 inc vat and overnight the price has gone down £30 in the meantime I’d bought a second hand Bosch GL2-45 on flea bay but couldn’t resist the bargain so. . . . . Now I have one for Agency work kit bag and one for Home tool kit - we are mad for our tools!
The GCL is a quality bit of kit. You can lock the pendulum when not in use. It has a plumb line as well as cross line. Comes on a base that has a smooth swivel and a magnetic holder for suspended ceilings.
If it’s still being sold £30 off it is truly worth it.

Whats your budget?

Would either be the Dewalt DW088k (red laser), can get for just over a £100, or push the boat out a little more and get the green laser version (brighter and easier to see) DW088CG but it's closer to £200.

They also do a Green Laser that uses their 10.8v Batteries

I have this one, it works good and is not too pricey, Ibought it a while back when I had a £20 off voucher, If you can not find it elsewhere cheaper then sign up for a electricfix type account and they will give you 10% off your first order. Its gone back upto £159 now, but I was replacing a lot of kit from a insurance payout when my van was broken into earlier in the year.
I have a little bracket from amazon so it fits on a tripod i already have. Has served me well with downlight installing.

For my budget I was thinking around the £100-150 mark but yeah I’d push the boat out if it was worth the money for that extra bit of quality.

I had a Bosch, until it got knocked over and cracked the glass lens. Bosch do not have any spares. So that was the end of that, because of a small piece of glass.

I bought the Stanley SCL - D, which you can get spares for . It can be used on its back, with the laser locked in place, great for lining up rows of down lights.

Concur the advice about red lasers in sun light, even indoors.

Unfortunately, they don't sell the SCL-D anymore, but the beam diagrams are useful, to understand what these lasers can project.
