Ok, im looking for a rechargable lamp, enough to light up a loft or dark room, sick of dropping my torch and my head lamp itches, lol...

any idea's?

Throw an extension lead in get a 500w halogen, lots of light and keeps you warm, not good for customers bill, but heyho, such is life.
i use 2 500w halogens on a tripod. can do cheese on toast on em.

I've got one of these:
ryobi one plus cordless fluorescent light on eBay (end time 20-Feb-11 19:32:35 GMT)
Despite changing my cordless gear over to Makita recently I kept this light, a couple of batteries and a charger. It's really good.
Not sure where you can buy them new anymore, but maybe a used one would be worth a punt.
Tip: use it with the nicad batteries not the one+ li-ion as they are bigger and don't fit properly.
