Hi everyone,

Can anyone help just trying to calculate the electrical demand and not sure about it. The circuits are as follow:

4 x lighting circuits (2 that are smoke circuits)
4 x ring mains
1 x radial for boiler
1 x cooker (32 amp supply needed, 28.6 amps without socket point on isolator?)
1 x hob (32 amp supply, 28.6 amps without socket point on isolator?)
1 x shower (no allowance for diversity)
1 x cooker (4800w - 20.86amps -13.26amps after diversity is this correct? if so would you say a 13amp fuse spur would be ok for this?)

Sorry for sounding thick :rolleyes: this post is regarding a job that the customer wants to split the house into flats, but keep it on one supply and fit coin meters in each flat. Main cut out is 100amps, if anyone could help I would be very greatful.

thanks

Isn't there a law in UK, ...about not being allowed to resell supply companies electricity, or there was??

think it's coomon pracice to fit landlords meters for flats, but there is some rule regarding max. they can charge tenants. not too sure on this as the last gov. passed more laws in 10 years than in the last 1000 years.

lighting circuits will be:

1 = 12 lights 60 watt lamps
2 = 10 lights 60 watt lamps
3 = 4 smoke alarms
4 = 2 smoke alarms

does this help thanks.
