Anyone got some intresting design flaw's?

I was at a job today putting some lampost lighting in, all was going well untill i put the isolator in. It looked chunky so before I wired it I thought I'd check the lampost cover shut before terminating it. Low and Behold it was impossible to shut with the isolator that was supplied WITH the lampost???
After many sworn words and of the hinge's I managed to get it to fit, ridiculous

YES B&Q lights are a massive design flaw!!

look after a office complex in durham and i am coming across various "designer" flaws..

for example

Corridor Lighting 20 Meter Long , Various doors top and bottom

solution 5m Short range wall mounted sensor and 30 Microwave sensor

now the "designer" flaw!!!!

the lights only need to operate during low levels of light so the fitted the 5m sensor with a lux/timer setting (danlers)
and the 30m Thorn Microwave only had a timer...!!


they wondered why the lights were always coming on during the day!! HMMMMM...
