I have a pair of Snickers duratwill work trousers which ive had for about 2years... They recently went on the seam round my asssss and after getting them repaired once they went again higher up a few weeks later.

Im looking at getting a pair of Dewalt DWC17 Low cut trousers to replace them as snickers are abit too expensive for me at the minute... Just wondering though : Are they comfortable and roomy trousers? and are they good for carrying tools and screws etc around??

Cheers

Matt

don`t mention putting screws in work trousers. i upset the other half with that one :) she was less than impressed when it turned up in the washer. the dewalt ones are not bad think they are a bit cheaper in makro if you have a card for it or one near you.

lol i've been there many a time with my snickers trousers.. having the multi-pockets and everything.. bound to be one pocket thats forgotten and hides a screw or two. . . I have got a makro near me but i dont have a card (yet) i've tried for both though at local wholesalers and i can get dewalt for near enough half the price of snickers.. with the latter been ÂŁ60 so

I've got the DeWalt trousers....dont know the part number though. I've no issues with them, they've lasted about a year now so I'm happy enough. The knees have pretty much worn through now, I think I paid about ÂŁ35 for them.

These ones....

Get yourself some Blaklader ones, I had a pair for 19 months and the stitching went around the crotch area, took them back to the store under the 'lifetime stitching warranty' and they sent them for repair, three days later got sent a free brand new pair as Blaklader said they dont repair major seams, just replace. Top service.

I've got Jobman Trousers, worn them to death over the last year and a bit. Very well made, no damage to the trousers at all including the knees. Apart from being a bit faded due to being washed to death they are still as good as new. i have killed the kneepads though, so i rang them up to ask for a local supplier. They sent me 2 new pairs FOC saving me ÂŁ15. Top service from a top company, and great gear as well.

Blackadder ones can be had from "Safe Sure" cumbernauld they have a web site dont know what the prices are like but as the wifes work uses them and her boss is a right tightwad I susspect they aint to pricey
