Big n Daft

The only thing these are good for is producing lottery numbers.
Lets here all your stories about these "instruments".
Here goes ,how about the lead swapping 'cus the software is pants and then dont get started on the "accuracy" of the infernal things.:banghead::banghead:

i find that mine generates random numbers when teh batterys are dying or the fuse is about to give up the ghost!!

other than that i like mine!

I have had one for 4yrs and two meggers in that time, dilog 9083p does its job day after day. Brought it as a back up just in case but ended up using it all the time after my meggers were stollen. Continuity plays up when battery is very low and leads need changing a lot as are cheap, but for a cheap and chearful tester cant complain. Great for teaching the kids on as is stupid proof. I thought when i brought it it would last ayear if I was lucky and as it was cheap no hardship, but keeps on going straight through calibration always spot on. So for a cheap tester your on to a winner.

Thats all well and good chaps.
Used one recently and checked it against a Robin, the thing was erratic and up to 0.74 ohms out. Its gone back, again, for the last time.
