Whilst performing various continuity tests my Di-Log 9083P is only showing zero 0:00. any help would be most appreciated.

try it on a length of cable, say at least 10m . measure R1+R2. sometimes a very low reading is beyond the resolution of the meter.

Hi Sophie, Odd behavior on the continuity range is usually due to a failing batteries, replace them with a new set (Duracell or Energiser alkaline recommended) and you should find that normal service is restored.

I've replaced the batteries as you've advised but still zero results. Any idea where would i get the fuse from?

thanks

Hi Sophie, You require a T3.15A, 500V 1.25" HRC Ceramic Fuse such as SIBA List No. 70 065 65 similar to those also used in the Fluke 165xB series MFTs. When using the link below ensure you select the correct fuse from the drop down list before purchasing:

When I first started using my Megger MFT, I was getting zero readings. I rang up Megger. They suggested I had somehow 'over' nulled the leads & tester. Did some kind of reboot of the MFT, and everything was fine again. Have you tried ringing Fluke?
