Hi Im newbie to this site, was hoping to get some imormation.

I need to draw a wiring and circuit diagram. The circuit is a simple one,

Its a 20 A isolator being fed from a single phase consumer unit via 2 core SWA.

My problem is what symbol to use for the isolator in the circuit diagram and how to draw the isolator in the wiring diagram.

Thanks in advance

Nobody know?

Im not being lazy here and asking people to do my homework as you put it, Im just asking for some genuine advice.
Ive come across these two symobols, would either be correct for the circuit diagram.

Also in regards to the wiring diagram, how do draw the internals and connections of the isolator, I cant find any information anywhere.

Ist Diagram is an isolator second is a fused isolator.

As for showing internals using the symbols dray th inter connecting links. dont worry about containment or the casing they just want to see that you know how it is connected.

Thanks mate, handed it in this morning, took a gamble one the isolator, sounds like I chose the right one.
