Guys,

I should know this but were im not doing many installs i forget want to put were on forms please help

when doing Ze l-n was 0.24 ohms PSC was 1.2ka
when doing Ze L-PE was 0.46 ohms PFC was 530a (how do i convert 530a to ka)

on the measured Ze do i put 0.24 or 0.46
how do i get the maximum demand (load) KVA/amps

is a tn-s system

thanks

if you have only install 1 new circuit onto a board do you still have to work out maximum demand for all circuits

3 x 32amp
1 x 16amp
2 x 6amp

Now, this one will get me shouted at!!!!

I have been told to use rule of thumb eg 100amp main fuse= 80amp Max demand, 80amp Main fuse = 60 amp max demand. 60 stays at 60.

Someone else said turn everything on and hang a meter on the tails

Someone else said add all breakers and apply diversity.

I think all these methods are equally innacurate as the max demand for my house works out at 140 amps after diversity if adding all breakers.

I stick with the rule of thumb as I think its accepted that this is a pointless figure!
