hi to all reading this
got sent over to uk by the company i work for to instal data server units,comms room would not be signed off till we had installed all equitment and working.light and power still been worked on by main contractor and noticed that t+e cable was been used for drops down to light switchs when asked if this was normal insted of twin brown got told yes we do things here right not the way"country folk do it"(funny realy as even though i work for a irish firm i was brought up in england)can he realy be right and this is the way it should be done (over here we have to work to the etci regs)

Hi did my apprenticeship down south of England where for 4 or so years wired switch drops in twin red .Have you ever wired a house in twin red its a pain.
however up north no one seems to have heard of twin red/brown for switch drops,also know from previous posts on here some of the lads not heard of them either. Certain ways/ methods/ phrases can be regional .Sounds like he is that word that comes after door.
