I have completed 2330 L2 and L3, I have domestic installers, also 2391 and 16th and 17th edition.
I recently put a post up regarding a job I have been offered. It involves building industrial presses (which they said they will train me up to do, but doesn`t lead to any qualification and is in the fitting field) plus they want me to wire them up which involves 3 phase, solenoids, start/stops etc.
My question is, I have begun my NVQ (approx just under half way through) in installation, I have asked my centre where I was doing my NVQ and they have said I will be unable to complete it with this job, but understand that it is a good oppotunity for me. Can anyone recommend how I could aquire my NVQ or if there is a similar one out there that deals with this kind of electrical work or is my only option now the HNC although this doesn`t give me a trade as such.
