different types of walls etc

Hi all,

bit of a mad one but could anyone point me in the right direction for learning about different types of walls you come across when chasing? going through college you learn the theory side and clipping to boards! they don't offer anything on the building of a house and the best way to deal with walls

I will list the ones i have come across.

Brick, Breeze, stone, cutout with grinder around the edge, scutch out to depth with SDS and finish by hand with hammer and chisel. Screw back box to wall with plugs and screws.

Lathe and plaster walls, cutout with jigsaw, use dryline backbox.

Plasterboard, cutout with padsaw, use dryline backbox, or sometimes a normal knockout box screwed to the battens.

And the worst of all STRAW, yes it is 2010 and they build bloody houses with internal walls made of straw and fire treated. cut these out with a Stanley Knife and they are a proper pain in the harry sole.
