Digs in Central London

Hey guys your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated!!!
I''ve been offered a months work in Cavendish Square but am in desperate need of digs for first couple of weeks - anyone know of anywhere/anyone willing to put me up for £100 a week? sofa will do!!!!

£100 a week will get you a bedsit (if you can call it that) in a not very friendly part of town!

well can you see anyone on a forum letting you stay at there house... @sofa will do..

when i worked in london there was 3 of us in a room = boss is tight or it was exspensive...

get on the net and look for places around that area of woek... ring , speak explain what you looking for and how you are self respected english man from the isle of white, tell them rent up front etc,,,,,

I can't remember what it's called so you'll have to do some searches but there's a website for people with/looking for spare rooms for short durations. I used it myself a few years ago.

Or if out of university term time you can stay in uni halls or residence, I once stayed on one near camberwell/ Peckham it was dirt cheap but that's going back to 1996

Blimey sean i know things are slow here but having to go to london for work! hope it pays well,actually need a hand lol,you could always look on google for hostels,some are only £10 a night but you would need to share a room so i wouldnt carry much cash,and sleep with one eye open.
