Hi Guys I have this DiLog 9083P multi meter that has gone or may of been faulty fro the start. I bought it from a college where I attended a short 2 day course. Great meter but as i didn’t really use it to its full extent until a month or so I have only just realised the problem. Since having the meter I haven’t done much electrical and it has only been in the last couple of months that I have use the meter properly. I have just finished a new CCU install on a property and when i went to do loop impedance test the RCBO's were tripping out. The meter is meant to have a non-trip function on it to stop this. I got round it by taking the line out the rcbo and linking it to the main buzbar. Although a pain in the arse it got me though the tests. On a pervious thread someone said this is a fault with the meter that DiLog know about and that i should call them which i did but they want me to sent it back to them and said that i wouldn’t get it back for at least 3, weeks. As i got so much electrical work and need my meter to test it its kind of impossible. My question is is that should i ask for a new replacement meter as the one i bought was faulty when i got it or just send it back
