Do dimmable LEDs work in those three setting touch lamps?

i.e. the ones with three settings, off, low, medium and arrggghhh where's my retinas gone?

I'm pretty sure they do but I would like a little confirmation before making myself look a complete tool, not that it would take much... :)

Im not really familiar with them but in an assumption i would say that the dimmer within the lamp needs to be compatable with LED lamps for which i doubt if they were designed for other bulbs, but having said that it may be possible to get a led lamp that is compatable to most dimmer types......
Not the most imformative answer but will be interested on other replies.

As far as I know the dimmer part works on a duty cycle, different rates for the various settings but will it work with dimmable LEDs?

easiest way to find out is to bang a dimmable LED lamp in one and see if it works. that's how man learnt how to fly, by trial and error (and funerals)
