I fitted a dimmer switch by daisy chaining the dimmer switch to a normal plug. The challenge is the light flickers at random intervals. If I take the dimmer switch off the lights don’t flicker. The bulbs are dimmable leds. Not an expert.. can I ask what causes the lights to flicker? Thanks in advance. Gerry

some LED lights will not work with a dimmer, the bulbs or lamps as we call them may be dimmable but are the drivers for the fittings? what lights are they? what dimmers have you fitted? are they low voltage or mains voltage?

Not all Dimmers can dim LED lamps, and the ones that can need to be compatible with the LED lamp type. Look for leading edge or trailing edge on the lamp type and match the dimmer.
