Dimplex heat lamps

Have been asked to look at a smoking shelter in a pub garden. There are 2 Dimplex heat lamps on the wall, run from two spurs, off the ring. Not on Timer switch .
The lamps keep blowing in the space of a week.

Anyone got any ideas, other than the smokers having to stand in the cold!

Poor quality lamps......rain on lamps.....dodgy contacts on lampholder...inadequate ventilation....deliberate interference....cant think of any other reasons.
If nothing turns up ask them to keep a record of when lamps fail. Quite often it turns out that the lamps last a lot longer than they realise.

The lamps are Dimplex ones, not equivalent, the installation is only just over month old. It's covered with a per-specs roof, so no rain issues and the ventilation is good.
