Hi, I have replaced a Switchmaster 3 port valve will a Honeywell valve all is working fine but the boiler header tank is over flowing (only dripping down the overflow pipe). This appears to only happen when there is no call for heating or hot water. Any ideas? I think it's a faulty valve.

To avoid changing the pipework I installed the valve upside down.

Thanks

Have you got the wiring right? If both H/W and CH are satisfied the boiler should not be operating. Valves should only be fitted the right way up to avoid water ingress in the case of a leak.

Thanks for you response. I have solved the problem by replacing the hot water tank, the heating coil was split.
