Disconnect Reconnect and Isolaters

I'm just interested in what you guys do when you have a consumer unit swap,

1.get the electric board to fit an isolator for you?
2.get the electric board to do a disconnect reconnect?
3.pull the main bullet yourself?
4.whip the tails out live?

Everytime I change a consumer unit I get power to come fit my an isolator. So be honest

i assess the condition of the fuse carrier, turn off all loads (check Meter to double check) then pull the fuse

what if the fuse doesn't want to be pulled? then you have to sweet talk, buy it a romantic dinner, take it for a spin in a sports car, then you can pull it

So far

Three clients agreed to get isolator switches fitted, one charged for and two foc by the respective power companies. One the client dealt with the fuse!
