Discovering electrical industry value chain

Hi,

I am a businessperson educating myself about Industrial sectors. I am working on an Internet based information providing project which has placed Electrical industry at its cornerstone, and subsequently, adding other industries to the equation that create a value chain to Electrical industry such as Water, Sewage and Waste management industries.

I would appreciate your assistance with identifying other industries that may directly or indirectly complement/add to the value chain especially in context of the Middle East region.
