I am planning the services to be run to a new outbuilding in my garden, which is c.60m from my house.
I have done the calcs and need to run 16mm SWA from the house supply to a consumer unit in the outbuilding to meet the demand.
So far, so good.
My query relates to the proximity of the electrical and other services running to the building.
I intend to dig a trench at 60 - 90cm depth to carry the foul drainage and plastic water supply pipes and can find no reference as to whether the SWA cable and a seperate duct carrying telephone ethernet and alarm cables can all go in the same trench, seperated by c.100mm.
Does anyone know what the correct standard is?
Any help appreciated.

100mm clearance from underground telecommunication cables.

"Suitable" spacing between your cables and non-electrical services to protect the cables from damage or harmful effects.
