Hi all, I want to feed a small 2-way distribution board from a spare way in the main consumer unit.
The new 2-way board will have either two B6 MCBs for separate lighting circuits, or there'll be one lighting circuit and a separate socket circuit. What sized breaker do I need to use in the spare way in the main consumer unit and what csa for the feed cable from the main consumer unit to the 2-way board. The 2-way board has a 63 Amp double pole main switch. Thanks!

If you are enquiring as to what rating of device will provide Selectivity (discrimination), the simple answer is no two BS EN 60898 circuit breakers will discriminate with each other under fault conditions.

You need to provide more info to be honest. This is pretty standard stuff. :)

Good job I checked your profile mate I was about to go into print with some abuse, but you're a Trainee so all is forgiven, just take note of the advice already given it's sound advice from knowledgeable people.
