Hello experts,

DIY enthusiast trying to replace a conventional light switch with a smart switch.

Setup: The box has single light switch but 6 wires.
2 black: live & load
2 white: I assume are neutral
2 copper: I assume ground

Problem: The smart switch needs a neutral & ground. I am not sure which ones to use.

Here are the voltage differences.

Thank you. Appreciate the help.
I will use both the white wires for neutral input & both the copper wires for ground.

I'm just a DIY'er, I'm not a professional - but I have to comment on this post - I'm always a bit uncomfortable with people saying "always the [colour] is your neutral/live" etc.

In my (very) short time wiring, I've noticed some misuse of colours/cores and you cannot bank on the sleeving to determine what you're dealing with, that's too much reliance on people's competence who have been there before you.
