Hello all
I am fitting a new Manrose MF100T bathroom extractor fan and was wondering if it is ok if:
I suppose my main concern is the cable is too thick for this application. I think the MCB and fuse rating would be safe.
I know these are usually fitted to a lighting circuit, but it is real pain to get to and the old shower feed is accessible and not in use.
Thanks in advance
Anthony
I am fitting a new Manrose MF100T bathroom extractor fan and was wondering if it is ok if:
- Thick (10mm i think) cable coming from CU - use to feed a shower, which is no longer there
- Connect 10mm to 2mm in a junction box so easier to work with
- Change MCB to 5/6 amp
- Place 3 amp fuse in line before it hits a 10 amp 3 pole fan isolator switch
- Switched live fed through a pull switch in bathroom
I suppose my main concern is the cable is too thick for this application. I think the MCB and fuse rating would be safe.
