FIT-PV

I am soon to install a 17.1 Kw System.

The building has two energy supplies so to get the best FIT Tariff we are going to split the install e.g. 9 + 8.1 - the supply is 3 Phase

What is the correct application form to let the DNO know about this project.

I called up UK power networks about this, and the form they sent me via email seems to be incorrect (Connection of a generation plant to distribution networks) ENA. - This form is about 10 pages long!

Be very careful about the assumption that your systems can be split into two different systems and therefore qualify for two seperate <10kWp systems - I'd suggest that if the supplies are in the same building then the systems would be classed as one system as far as FITs were concerned.

If the building is No48 to No52 and both 48 and 52 have a separate supply, I am sure this should qualify for two separate FIT's or am I wrong?

I'm not sure. Do they both have different residents?

What exactly constitutes a seperate FITs account is down to Ofgem's discretion. Seems like a big risk for the customer to me - unless they work on a worst case scenario that they will actually be on the >10kWp tariff and the best case scenario that they'll get the <10kWp tariff for both systems

I will confirm with Ofgem on how this works. This is actually for a commercial building so no residents as such. Any idea about the DNO forms for this?
