Does anyone have any experience of DNOs refusing to install isolation switches between meter and CU?
I have been considering replacing my CU as one of my part P install inspections, and wanting to do things properly, have been considering getting my supplier to fit a DP isolator to enable me to carry out the work legally. Doing some research on the web, I came across this NPower document...
http://www.npower.com/idc/groups/wc...documents/business/b2b_hs_guidelines_elec.pdf
If you look towards the bottom they give a list of DNOs that are prepared to install isolator switches, and unfortunately mine is not one of them.
I have not contacted my supplier to ask, because if they say no, I know what the next step is likely to have to be and I don't want them to have my enquiry on their system and get suspicious
I'm just wondering if I am worrying unnecessarily, has anyone had any dealings of this nature with Southern Electric (My Supplier)?
Cheers
