Can anyone help...I have domestic installer scheme qualification(part p) and then sat my solar pv course. Was told by sevenoaks accadamy where i done these that that is all that i needed.I have a mcs assesment in a couple of weeks and have been told by others that mcs want you to have 17th edition aswell. Is this true...Please help...Many thanks Graeme

lol, you have to have your 17th Ed to do any new circuits, i think the cut off date was last year to update, how come you haven;t updated??. others may say you dont need to update but if something goes wrong try getting help from your Insurance company. do you have insurance at the moment?.

A good place to check would be the MIS 3002 document Appendix A.

Really if you have spent all that money on a part P and solar course you should know/ have already looked at the requirements.

Thanks for feed back.I'm a gas safe engineer and am trying to get into Pv.I booked at sevenoaks acadamy they said i have to do part p with them and then pv course and thats it i can book in mcs.I thought this was wrong but when a training course tells you thats it you hope they now best.
