Hi guys just looking for a bit of clarification.
Im about to start a job in a kitchen thats being renovated and theres a couple of electrical alterations. A new cooker + hob replaced like for like, and an old switched spur on a radial circuit that controlled a heater is being made into a single socket as the heater is no longer needed. Both circuits will be moved to the RCD side of the Consumer Unit. My question is do i need to issue a Minor Works or an EIC? My personal opinion is a Minor works because I’m not adding a new circuit as the regs say, im only moving a circuit somewhere else in the Consumer Unit which is only an alteration.
