i see on the news that doctors are now going to be annually assessed to ensure that they're competent to practice. soon they'll want to retrain to become electricians, or is napit going to be National Association Of Practicioners In Training.

Heard that earlier on the radio, basically, they will all pass.
They were saying that, that charmer, Shipman, would have strolled through.
Sounds like a total waste of time and money! (yet another one!)

No, ...but i can see the possibility of the Training centre's seeing another opportunity to start fast track limited scope doctors courses... lol!!

The amount of use GPs are, (you've got a virus, here, take these anti-biotics!!!), they may as well train as 7WW.

I'll take it that this is said tounge in cheek :81: ! My daughter is a doctor and when I see the responsibility and workload she has, I'm bl**dy glad I'm just a spark! And to add insult to injury, if you divide her working hours into her salary, the pay's not great either:(. Judging by the stories I hear, some of the "customers" she has to deal with on a typical weekend are much worse than my difficult ones:shocked:

Well, I have to say that I am not overly impressed by my somewhat limited experience with GPs, after I had studied Biology to a certain level, but I also understand that they are severly restricted in the amount of time they are allowed to spend with any given patient and therefore diagnosis is going to suffer.

No it wasn't.
I hate GPs. They're a waste frigging of space.
Hospital staff, different breed of animal, I love them, the work they have done for me!
