Hi all

I've got a Megger MFT1721 probably around 3 years old. Was working a treat but last 3 months whenever I attempt to do end to end resistance tests readings are jumping all over place. Have bought various new leads, cleaned probe inserts, new batteries but what ever I do I'm still getting this problem. Wondered if any of you have had same issue with this tester and if there's any fix for it. Failing that anyone got any recommendations for decent tester that isn't going to break the bank, the Mettrels look pretty decent from what I've seen. I don't need all the fancy Bluetooth and wireless stuff, main spec required is chargeable, can do 2 lead ZS testing, can do low current testing so as to not trip RCD's and also auto RCD testing and can rest A type RCD's. Cheers
