Hi all. Does a lampost (private) 50 metres from a building need to be segregated from the installations PME and have a segregated electrode? I have a church with 3x lampposts in the churchyard fed from armoured cabling. The lampposts are part of the churches installation. Exporting PME this far from the building is against my DNOs requirements.
Is it good practice to install segregated electrodes next to one or more of the lampposts? If so should it be in parallel with the PME or segregated from it? Or is proof that the columns themselves are in good contact with the ground sufficient, if so is the max resistance the same as it would be for an electrode ?
Sorry many Qs. Thanks in advance!
