does any one know torque setting of wylex mcb

Hi guys

does any one know the torque setting for wylex mcb as the board has come with no paper work,and i have a torque screwdriver to try out

i do seem to remember seeing that some where but it boes seem very low

I have just done a search which come up with 2.3NM for mains switch/RCD's and 1.7 MCB

Thats what I use on wylex boards

Very posh using a torque driver mind, I asked the price of one once, when i d came round from fainting I said no your alright I judge with my wrist. Has become a requirement to use them now?

Only to comply with manufacturers instructions.

I found this link to Wylex products [1] Circuit Protection Systems for Domestic Household - https://www.voltimum.co.uk/content/circuit-protection-systems-domestic-2?flippage=1 page 54 shows the torque settings for MCBs, RCBO and AFDD's looks like the min is 2.3Nm and maximum is 3Nm

Tighten the screw just enough and then give it an extra bit. Thats never let me down.

not only finished, but caught fire and burnt the house down 8 years ago. all because he could not be arsed to buy a torque driver.
