Hi,

im been asked to replace a underfloor heating control system, I've been to site to carry out my pre-technical survey and to my amazement I found no switch live to the boiler from any of the 8 manifolds! the boiler still has its jumper in to keep it firing at all times.

my question is: does anyone know of a wireless switch that I could use as a switch live? it's massive this house and running a switch live could be done but it won't be an easy task and I would prefer a less disruptive route. I'm going to need 4 of these.

thanks

possibly - we've used a system from maplin, though that's designed for a manual switch, I suspect you're looking for something to trigger the boiler automatically when the system calls for heat?

I don't quite understand the issue though, as surely the boiler will have a pressure sensor and thermostat that means that it will only switch on when there is flow through the boiler, so it will in effect only switch on when the pump is running... or is the pump also continuous?

Thanks both - its more complicated than a single stat - but ive got it under control - @Gavin - yes mate, but the boiler needs a switch live for the pump over-run. as it now its only cutting out on temp. So to save me running a wire from the 4th floor to the plant room i wanted some sort of wireless switch/signal sender with a receiver next to the boiler.

Im going to speak with Heatmiser tomorrow as its their kit we specify anyway.

TY
