Quick Question.

BS7671 specifies colour coding for 230V AC conductors, but I've looked through it and I'm sure I can't see anything which specifies colour coding for <50V AC or DC conductors.

I've done a lot of work with 12V/24V DC stuff and it's always been Red for positive, Black for negative back to a lighting transformer and then the normal Brown for Line, Blue for Neutral.

I know it might be me being picky, but I just wondered if it is stipulated in BS7671 somewhere.
