Hi All,
I was working for an Access Control company for about 18 months and was told that my Irish Electrical Qualification was sufficient for me to do basic things like wiring spurs etc.
I have recently started my own business doing CCTV,Alarms etc. I have found conflicting info about whether or not my Irish Electrical Qualification (2001-2005) 4 year apprenticeship is recognised over here. I only need to do very basic wiring such as spurs and maybe the odd security light etc...
Does anyone have any advice on what I may or may not have to do? I have been working away as normal but am slightly concerned in case I may not be legally allowed to do these basic things....
Thanks in advance!
