This is on the back of my other thread about earthing a ground based array frame....or not according to dti earthing tree.

The problem I have is that the inverter is frame mounted, earthing this down from the house will bring the PME out of the house to the frame.

Also, metering is remote to the house, and the main house CU is nigh on impossible to get cable to. The only point of entry is a sub board in the loft.

What does the volt drop on all that come to? Have you measured the local voltage?

It wasn't so much the volt drop, it was more the earthing arrangements and PV connection to the loft CU.
