i am qualified in city and guilds 2330, 2391 and nvq level 3. i am looking for a job to do domestic work in leicestershire. any suggestion?

Send out a load of CVs to all local businesses and look on job serch sites.

Be prepared to get no or little response at the minute though, times are still a little tough

get money from family/bank or take differnt job and go it alone,

Just don't get disheartened when you get no replies.... Companies are getting so many CV's.. (and to be honest allot seem to be people on job seekers playing the system who have no intention on working). they would have to employ a person just to answer every CV that they received which is just not economically viable.

i have copy and pasted addresses from all part p scheme providers ie. nicie, napit, elecsa, eca etc. i have sent out over four hundred letters in the whole of leicestershire and all this cost me around £120 excluding the time i spent on my pc gathering all the info. only about 2% replied. i can go solo but i feel i lack some experiece and confidence. money is not a problem to get. my family and friends are very supportive.

just stick to simple jobs, like for like fittings , add extra lights add sockets.. you gotta take a chance sometime, and definatly in these times as no 1 wants to share their expierience or spend. im going through same problem, but i get weeks work here and there, if i had bit more expierience in heating systems and cu changes id be a domestic godess
