Hi, first post.

I have seen a 22 day course to become a domestic installer, if I take this course and pass what exactly does this enable me to do?

Does it simply enable me to undertake domestic work? Or does it enable me to set up a business and undertake domestic works?
I have only the 2330 level 2 qualifications.

Think it enables you to set up a small business, although you won't be able to learn everything in 22days.

You'd be better off getting your 2330 level 3, and 17th - you'd have more credibilty then. And, heaven-forbid if your business was to fail - you'd be more employable.

Hi gav welcome to the forum. Have you looked into getting the level 3?
Personally I would say no it doesn't mean you can setup a business, you would need to be with a scheme provider,
amongst other things. Where have you seen this course?

how much does this course cost?

also, are you thinking of jacking the 2330 level 3 in favour of this 22 day course? if so, i reckon you'd be making a mistake - complete the 2330 and do the nvq part of 2357 + am2. i'm guessing it'll be cheaper than the 22 day course. it may take longer but you'll be a better electrician at the end of it.
