pbrender

evening everybody,I knew to this so please forgive me!
I'm trying to comprise a rough guide on pricing for domestic installations (part p scheme, thinking about a change over or at least addition)
I apreciate each job is different, but, would apreciate any guidance anyone can give me as domestic appears very different from commercial and industrial.

anything from full rewire, changing a light pendant to a chandelier, to an addition or change of socket please.

thankyou everyone!

Paul

pbrender orite chap, I am having the same problems as i am a newby electrician, currently aged 18 but wanting to turn self employed so this prices issues is a big headace for me, But however it depends on the location of you in habitants or the place you get a job from it all depends on the area, but dont take my word for it chap as i am i new myself but i do have years experinece in domestic and commerical

Everyone and every job is different but:- Materials + 20-30% + what you believe your time and expertise is worth per hour = £---. A word of warning, don't under estimate how long a job can take or you will find yourself working a few hours or a day for no wage (kind of thing).

Re: domestic external conduit

Hi Everyone,

is it exceptable to use plastic conduit outside on a domestic install or should it only be galvanised steel?

I have to run power in 2.5 t&e approx 3m outside along a brick face, they have already bought the plastic conduit!

thankyou to everypne who answered my first post.
