dont despair in the credit crunch

I'm same as most, on off....loads of work then nothing for days..
But something always turns up...like my latest. Can I fix an old standard lamp...err ok I'll take a look (the lamp is worth a fortune btw) but i wasn't aware at the time...old cotton twisted flex...easy rewire, new brass lamp holder new cable...60 quid, customer highly delighted and gave me 100 quid.

Then asks would i like to wire new stable block...i'll show you where ts going, can i give a ball park figure...yep no problem.

Customer wants mains laying pronto, before new drive/forecourt is laid...can i do that quickly? yeah if the trench is dug...customer I can sort that tomorrow....would £300 be enough to cover price of cable...yeah that would be ok...thanks.

12 hours previous I was doing my head in...where is this **** going


right place at the right time springs to mind, although i was reccomended thru a friend of a friend thru a customer...just shows
