Alreet chaps.
I have been doing a 'domestic art studio' at the moment :beatnik2: and i have installed some Ansell track lighting.
I like Ansell gear but rarely install it due to the cost! I had spoken to them directly prior to purchasing as i needed exact measurements so the builder could put battens behind the plasterboard for me to fix to.
I was advised by the salesman (i am sure some of you are laughing) that when using the suspension kits i needed 1 steel wire per track section (1000mm sections) and instead of fitting the suspension in the middle i needed to fit them in the corners (only on the corner pieces).
Needless to say i did as they suggested (against my better judgement) and it didn't work! Didn't take me long to refix the corner wires thanks to the trusty laser level but i do have to go back and repair the plaster from where the original fixings were.
Have any of you lot fitted this stuff?
The moral of this story is, don't trust the salesman!
