I seem to remember someone had a template disclaimer for the cooling off on here but can't seem to find it on search.

Can't remember the thread but I attach here a form of words adapted from the Elecsa information and also the details of the notice as required by the regulations, I am assuming you are referring to the contracts in a consumers home regs 7 day cooling off period.

You can make the wording as easy as possible and appropriate to your work, I always include it in my estimates because I rarely have a chance to see the customer after they accept the estimate and before I start work. Not sure this totally meet the regs but does avoid committing an offence by not supplying it!

Many thanks Richard, Yes thats the idea really. Just want to cover myself from the odd 1% that may try it on. Better safe than sorry in this try to get out of everything world we scrape by in.
