Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get double insulated singles by the meter, not drum.

Its only to run from a time switch to a contactor to pull it on, but have nothing less than 16mm and struggling to find any, have tried Edmunsons and they only go down to 16mm, CEF cant help, Neweys have a drum of 1.5mm.

It's only pulling it on so no load on it as such so something small will do but was going to use 6mm or something like that.

Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who has some by the meter.

Thanks.

Stuff and nonsence, I have obtained this type of cable many times by CEF, what size you after? 6mm2 is a standard size they keep on the shelf.

Try asking for Insulated and sheathed single cables, instead of the incorrect term of Double insulated!!

That's what I meant.

Honestly, my local CEF are a waste of space and idiots to say the least.

I just called them again and asked from singles, sheathed as said, and they said yes how can we help, we have loads of it. I told them the first time i just need some to run from a time switch to a contactor and they said no mate... they are bloody useless in there.
